After being inspired by JSR's combustion cartridge awhile back I decided to attempt my own with hybrid mixes. Ignition still needs work and metering still needs tweaking but it is coming along. It has also successfully loaded an empty cartridge  .Feel free to ask questions.

wow looks great, what mixes do you plan on using? Is the fill valve a schrader, and if so how do you inject the propane. And last, where's the burst disk?

@ JDP http://tinypic.com/view.php?pic=27x4fuc&s=6 This the sealing face for the burst disk. The cap has poured epoxy resin in it and the pipe nipple has epoxy putty to help compress the burst disk.

@DWV It is a 1.5 x 3" pipe nipple capped with black iron caps.

@Lockednloaded I plan on 10x shots with mapp willing through schrader.

Edit: I apologize for the poor picture quality. It does not really look that shoddy.

Ah. So a homemade union in essence. Have you tested it for sealing??

I have tested with my shock pump. When heavily torqued down no air leaks through the barrel. However the threads where the nipple meets the cap has tended to leak slightly.

Another ghetto-but-great setup from you :D and bloody hell, if you're planning on having those cartridges eject, I wouldn't want to be hit by one!
