Yeah that's right. I've been building a hybrid. Actually since about august now. Because of school I haven't had much tine to work on it. But it's almost done!

I couldn't keep it hidden any longer. All I have left to do is set up the fueling and finish the stand and the paint it.

Very cool. How much of an x factor are you trying to get?

I'm gonna do 5x with purged oxygen. If that's too inefficient then I will switch to injected oxygen later.

Cool. Can you explain the design of the gun a little more. I'm a little confused by what looks to be multiple chambers on the gun.

Looks fairly solid. I assume piece with the red switch on it is power module and there's a spark plug mounted in the neck there?

What is the bottom "PVC flashlight" looking thing at the bottom?

The top PVC is just a cover for the back of the copper barrell to look better.
The second (metal) is the chamber.
The third is the spark box.
And the one on the very bottom is part of the stand.

Nifty. What type of circuit are you using to ignite the gun, and how are you isolating your igniter from the metal of the chamber?

I used a stun gun taken apart and used the shock generator and the battery box. The red is a saftey and the trigger is on the top of the vertical handle on the very back(right side). The red and green wires coming off. The front of the shock box hook to a spark plug at the front of the metal chamber.

Also the barrel is 1" copper 5' long and the chamber is 2" steel around 20" long.

That's cool. We're looking into building a cheapy-esque hybrid. We're cannibalizing one of our high pressure air cannons to build the chamber for the hybrid. No clue what we'll use for the barrel, but copper looks to be the gold standard on here, so we'll probably wind up using copper. Your gun looks good so far! What is the weight on that thing?

I'm not sure total but but just the chamber is between 10 and 15 pounds.

That sounds about right. What material will you be using for a burst disk, and how will you fix it in your gun?

There is a 1 inch union at the back of the barrel.

I'm not sure about what material I will certainly be using.

I'm thinking about these...

I'd use the 1 9/16" ones.

Maybe some soda can aluminum for more power.
