Yes it's true!
As I saw a nice spark with an atmospheric pressure 10bar as I thought it would work too ...

Hah you would think so, but with 10x more air in the chamber that's a lot more resistance for the spark.

Man, you really don't mess around :D Very nice work on this project (as always... :P ), Petitlu. You're brilliant!

damn that's nice... the flash makes it look more like a real gun than a spudgun

ohh and you used loud speakers connectors - I saw them somewhere and I though 'damn these would be useful for an ignition module'

Thank you!

For the spark, I hope it will be up to Mix40!
To make taking the hybrid, we exceed Mix20?

Today at Mix20 with barrel shot and bullet, we'll see the noise! I think the barrel will attenuate the sound.

I love the form of the flame!

I 30m wire connectors speaker, I used it to take off my water rockets before putting a remote control.
For rockets, I try to beat the world reccord American! (631m) :D
I polycarbonate manufactured fuselages / aramid.

I'm getting results with ThorJack, it encourages me!

If you do go up to 20x mixes, be careful about using copper barrels. I did this at only a 10x mix:

:D

I've been meaning to try higher mixes on my small hybrid but I need a gauge that reads above 145PSI first.

Thank you board!
But my barrel is a rifled barrel steel black powder .50 caliber!
Awesome video, I hope you did not get hurt

As you reside in a nation of sheep shaggers surely there are plenty of agricultural stores that can supply you with a sizeable one ;)

I can't use a syringe to meter out 206PSI of air for a 15x mix

That's odd, I managed to use syringe fuelling up to 28x mix. Hmmm...

Haha, ok well yeah I could but I mean the size of the syringe would be getting a bit much :D

Wouldn't I'd need a syringe about 6+ litres in volume for a 400-500ml chamber (to fill it in one go)? And then the chamber of my large hybrid is 3-4x bigger than my small hybrid and I want to take that past 10x mixes as well (perhaps not as high as 15x).

Anyway, when do you plan on trying 40x mixes Petitlu?

heuuu ... gradually, I'm careful!
Within a week I will be at Mix40! my maximum!
Then the tests are finished and I will make the look of Thorjack

Wait, what?

Say you have a 500mL chamber and are using propane.

To 10x, you need to inject 4.2% x chamber volume x 10.

In our case, this is 4.2/100 x 500 x 10 = 210mL

That's two squirts from this: http://www.ebay.co.uk/itm/1-x-100ML-LAR ... 23116d4693

I'm talking about air.
