Small autonomous hybrid

Harness the power of precision mixtures of pressurized flammable vapor. Safety first! These are advanced potato guns - not for the beginner.

I was trying to build a small hybrid .22 low pressure gauge, and it was for this reason the questions that I asked and kindly answered here.
After looking at many publications here, I decided to give it a try. In the end it ended up working quite correctly, and although it has just 3.5x of mixing pressure, it shoots with enough energy compared to those that are simply 0x, of which I have built.
On the other hand, it seemed not very prudent to give more pressure, because at the time of the shot, the weapon is only a few inches from my face and even more bearing in mind that the materials I used to build it are quite precarious, common sense tells me That an error can seriously hurt my face. I tried it until 6X, but I do not really want to spend 3x when I shoot it like an assault rifle. Sometimes is better safe than sorry. When I get better materials I will increase the compression.
I have prepared some diagrams to try to explain, and some photos of the behemoth :? jajajaja. Soon I will upload a test video shot. Any suggestion would be very useful to me since I am just giving my first steps in this of the hybrids. a greeting

References photos:
1- Cylinder (modified syringe) Injector - doser.
2- Electrical safety switch.
3- 4-way valve and 2 positions.
4- Exhaust gas excess hose.
5- Valve Knob 4/2
6- Butane gas supply valve knob
7- Air pump
8- Gas supply valve 2/2

Functioning.
When the 4/2 valve is in the "A" position, the small butane gas pass-through valve (not included in the diagrams), which carries the gas from the tank, is opened (110 cm3 aerosol ), To the injector - dosing cylinder.
The gas enters according to the diagram, and when the plunger uncovers the hole "2" the surplus gas escapes to the atmosphere leaving only the necessary quantity and at atmospheric pressure, necessary for the combustion. In this prototype are about 16 cm3.
When the 4/2 valve is in the "B" position, operated manually, the hole "2" closes, and the hole "1" opens.
In this step air is blown in with the air pump (about 8 cycles), which presses the plunger in the direction shown in the diagram, and injects the gas measurement into the combustion chamber first, until the opening "1". At this moment, and having entered the combustion chamber all the gas previously dosed in quantity, only air enters until reaching the loading pressure, about 3.3 bar.
The valve 4/2 then moves to the "A" position, blocking the orifice "1" and thus being hermetically sealed.

insurance
The lock works with the 4/2 valve. When it is in position "B", during the inflation, an electric key operated by it, is disconnected. Although the trigger, (another electric key), is depressed, there is no spark inside the combustion chamber. They have to be on "on" the two keys for electric spark to occur. When the 4/2 valve is in the "B" position, this key is activated (the one on the safety valve), and when the second key is activated by the trigger, the gun fires.

Cleaning the combustion chamber.

When the compressed air is inflated, the piston in the combustion chamber compresses the remaining spring until the firing occurs.
When the pressure is reduced to atmospheric, on the face of the piston facing the gun barrel, the spring returns the piston until all residual burnt gases are exhausted to the outside and through the firing barrel. The combustion chamber is automatically cleaned for the next charge cycle.

If I understand your description correctly, I like the shot cycle a lot!

Proyecto impresionante! Es una pena que no podemos ver bien las imágenes, ¿puedes intentar usar el cargador spudfiles?

Yo había considerado un híbrido autónomo, pero para ver uno realmente construido es realmente agradable.

Apologies for the poor quality of the photos, (and my translator's English, which should "sound" very badly). The problem occurred on the site to get directions to upload the images here. Although my camera is good, they looked so bad .. I will try to do what it proposes to make everything look better.
I was looking for a free place at home, to make the corresponding video, now that I'm alone ... I'm not allowed to make a noise. Here at home, they are "allergic" to the shots, :? and just this prototype is quite noisy, not too many, but it sounds. In the video you will see everything much clearer.
The gun fires nice, and although it is coarse by this present time, I am planning to build another, the number 2, with more load pressure and better built. I think of double the 7x pressure and use a canon commercial, streaked and 6.35 caliber pipe that is cute to pull at short distances, no more than 15 meters. I will be sharing here in the forum the advances in its construction.
I also plan to replace the air pump with a small reservoir of compressed air, so as not to have to inflate. The truth would be more comfortable but I will have to inflate all the shots together !! We will see as follows.
Jackssmirkingrevenge: VERY interesting idea of the "autonomous hybrid". I had not seen this post. This forum is almost infinite ...
Thank you for viewing my post.

Ah, much better. What a brilliant project!

Looking forward to seeing this thing charged and fired :)

Thanks sirs! I can hardly upload the video of shooting tests, (I made a schedule of departure and entry times of my people here at home, just have a little solitude will be the tests! 8) ).

I uploaded the videos of the small hybrid rifle. I recorded them in the very small space I had available at home. I had to encourage to go to the store to shop for my people  and "nothing has happened here" Greetings

Eres un fenómeno Hector! Tu podrias ser cantante si no fuera por la voz! :D

Seriously, well done! I think this is the first completely self-contained hybrid that has ever been demonstrated on this forum, truly impressive work! Congratulations for putting it together in spite of the fact that you seem to be using basic tools, kudos!

Thank you very much.
I am very amused to build and shoot these things. I have devised, for the next prototype 2, several improvements. The future weapon will have a magazine and will expel used cartridges, and the gas charge is fully automatic. I will publish the diagrams here to give you their opinions.
Apart from these improvements, the pressure will be double, 7x, and the valve will be operated with the movements of loading the ammunition directly.
I have tried using a small tank of compressed air, (a bottle of 1kg of gas) that has an internal volume of 1.8 liters, and with a moderate pressure of about 8 bar, can make about 15 shots. This will be another future improvement, although the air pump will be present to be able to manually load air, as an option.

Looks nice. Do do you have any details on how the pump connects to the chamber, like is there an isolation valve (besides the check valve in the pump) between them?

You posted the other pictures again but none of the diagrams. :D

PD: Saludos desde la isla de plátanos y béisbol.
