@Jack: You get intimidated by my face already....BOOH!

I did shoot it indoors.

As I said, a ricochet at half the pressure hurts like hell through a thick sweater.

Some damage and inner workings:

I like that descrition with a sl#t (pic with a can)

yeah lead BBs are the way to go. cheap plastic BBs are ussually 0.2 g each lead BBs are about 1g ? so I assume you could get about 3 times (?) the power you have now... well I am just guessing :?

We could all add a poll to our cannons asking just one question:
Is this your favorite cannon? And then compare count.

There is no doubt lead bb's give better results. My fist experimental vortex block strafer ripped up steel cans at 20 bar with a smaller tank.
This one could do 3 x that.

I 'm hesitating getting 5.5mm bb's ( .20)
I believe the round ones are hard to get, as opposed to pellets.
They wouldn't jam, since the have 0.5 mm clearance.

5.5mm BBs seem to be something rather rare.... and obviously a 0.5mm gap would affect performance... does it jam often ?

AFAIK 1/2" marbles are cheap :D
lol a 12.7 mm BBMG.... that would be something better than... well..... better than anything :D

I have .50 roundballs for muzzle loading blackpowder rifles.About a 100 of em.
And the fit reasonably well into 15 mm pipe.
'Not too sure the valve has enough flow...
and I don;t already want to damage the paint..It was the last I had..

I understand that you are using your pressure washer handle as a valve right ? I suppose its flow isn't as good as it could be but defienately you're going to get more range with 0.5" lead balls than with plastic BBs

that 47mm cannon looks massive.. how much does it weight ? about 12 - 15 kg ? I suspect that the weight absorbs the recoil to some extend but still it has to kick like a mule... that barrel could be a bit longer to get more power but it would add a kilo or two to the overal mass.... also does that blowgun seal well at 30 bar ?

Does that can mean 'flat black' in English? - If it's even a spraypaint can and not silicon spray or somethign like that...

Cool dmaage pics, you definitely owned that can.

I just wish you had unlimited lead BB's :)

This is the short breakbarrel. ( it swings up to breechload)I have another one about 70 cm long, but the power was so ridiculous, I could sacrifice some and go for the look I wanted.
Check out: http://www.spudfiles.com/forums/overkil ... nd-camo-t8 855.html
The same cannon, just with the large barrel.
Blowgun manages 26 Bar so far.Haven't felt like trying 30 in my back yard.
It leaks while filling when half open.

Yep, that's flat black spraypaint allrighty..Don't leave home without it :D

6mm modded elbow..worked fine, but now that I was gonna change the barrel, I went for a larger elbow.

Smoothbore .177 or 4.5 mm barrel.
No blowby. It was part of some strange hinge, so it wasn't even a pipe.It had a flap running on the top of it and it was asymmetrical.
Had to file like crazy, but it's worth it now..

New modified elbow.I imagine it scoops up bb's a lot better.
I'll know tomorrow as I'll be getting some lead .177 bb's.....and open up that can like a bee-itch!
