I was going to make one like the second one about a year ago, but all the frickin' tiny parts were driving me insane! :x

Talk about tiny parts, Jack's designs are “STEN” simple compared to my prototype, (which reminds me, it may be some time next week before I get it finished…) not that that’s a bad thing; “All that is complex is not useful, all that is useful is simple.”

Well, everything's relative - after having made a 0.098" caliber launcher, this thing is enormous by comparison

wow, i finally understand blow-foward bolt's....

im making one currently......... lol. youve inspired me jack..........

(i had to find a use for the hop-up, barrel, reciever, and 500 round hicap magazine i got from my friends broken G3sas AEG. homebuilt classic rifle neone....... lol.

and jack, if you want it to go auto, just decrese the flow leading into the bolt. the bolt only opens once its reached a certain volume and pressure in the chamber, so why not.........

VH_man, I am still waiting for your awesome sounding 9mm airsoft gun. When is it going to be finished and posted? If you don't mind me asking.

sorry, im "STILL" working on that. i have a prototype, but the only video i have of it, the bolt moves SO fast you cant see it......

basically, its scrapped untill i have the cash (just bought a TM MP5sd6). and its supposed to be 6mm.........., not 9mm. typo........

it basically works the same as the one above, but the valve is controlled. basically, when the bolt is back, a push-button valve (aka a modded blowgun) is open. the normal blowgun (the trigger) lets in airflow. it lets in JUST enough air for the bolt to move foward a fire the BB, but the second the bolt moves foward the airflow stops, saving gas consumption. when the air in the chamber is expended, the bolt moves back, opens the valve, and if the trigger blowgun is open it cycles again, and if the blowgun is closed it stops firing....

its pretty simple, but the method in this thread makes ALOT more sesne, and takes up less room.

here's a few prototype photos to whet your appetite ;)

Of course the syringe tube isn't pressure rated but I'm taking my chances for now, I can reinforce it later if the system works.

Not that much really. I bought 4.5 kilos worth 3 years ago and I still have about 1/4th of it left.

why not use brass tubing jack? youd get lower friction.......... therefore more efficient bolt system.......

anyways, that looks greater than great. i hope to see the finished project...........

You don't have to wait long, the last pouring of epoxy is curing and it should be ready for testing within 24 hours :)

Hope it won't be an anti-climax :?

Ah well, I'm reasonably sure it will work for one shot, it's the auto bit I'm not sure about.
