Hi. I made this cannon a wile ago, but didnt use it much:

heres some of the oroginal pics:

Its a little over 3 ft long and I use cheap dollar store "made in china" body spray (beacuse the #1 ingredent is butane) for propellant ant the red button you see on the top is an old grill starter that I use to ignite the propleant, causing the BBs to fly out aboyt 60 ft.

Heres an MS paint version current cartrage i'm useing for the cannon:

I seem to be haveing problems with keeping the gas in the cannon, but I like the fact that it;s a cartrage I can put in, fire and easily reload. So do any of you have any good ideas to either improve the cartrage or any ideas for a new cartrage? (I also wrap duct tape around the oytside to make a better seal, which I frogot to illiustrate in the pic.)

Dixie cups may provide a better seal as the wadding than the paper. As far as the cannon goes, that is a neat look it has going for it. Upgrades are in order to improve on it.

Also, do you actually use this for airsoft? I'm just wondering because most fields won't allow combustion cannons.

how could you miss someone with that?

it looks like a really fun cannon to shoot. i think i would want more than 60 feet though.

you did a very good job on it, both the cannon and the paint job.

aw, its nothing. The pain job is just cheap spray paint. And I use the cannon only with friends when we go airsofting (I have 3 achers of woods behind my house). But dixie cups, now thats a good idea! wait, do you mean replace the TP role with dixie cups or the news paper wadding with a dixie cup?

you should really look into pneumatics, i made a "airsoft grenade launcher" which was basically a 2" coaxial piston cannon with 1" barrel shot about 60ft with no wadding what so ever and was a quarter the size of your gun (up to 120ft with my honey comb barrel technology). sold it for $10 and a bunch of assorted pvc fitting to this kid down the street

i bet this is a lot scarier to go up against, and its got a sweet paint job!

I like to use cotton balls when using a 1" or 3/4" barrel, they are great for sealing. Also cardboard discs

Well, sorry im not to fimilar with the termanalogy. Could you post a link that explains all the stuff youre talking about? And the paint job now is all scrached up because I used cheapo paint.

Dose anyone know what would be a good sealant for the paint so it dosent get scrached up?

Yeah, but I like the colors I have now, so I would just like to toch them up and then apply a sealant.
