If you live in brisbane, QLD, Aus... could you tell me where to get plastic bbs... i'm sick ofusing arts and craft beads lol.... half done my diagram... you could probably make one your self it's nto too hard actually...

yeah i'd make a vortex but that's expensive... making one of these will be cheap i can probably play skirmish with my friends lol

glove guns are the best tho... designing a magazine for one tho...

anyway whilst procrastinating u kno where u can purchase them?

 Heres a simple diagram you could use to power your homemade AEG

it's simple as hell you can get all your parts from RC hobby stores
i know it's going to be a bitch lining up the gears but that's as simple as it gets... in my opinion anyway

you could attempt to make it cause i am... and your outer shell can be like a toy m16 or something...

position the cogs will be really hard but once you make it and it works well... it' be mad ... well i hope you can build it off that diagram

sorry if my image was fuzzy, thats the direct link if u want to see the diagram more clearly

umm just a question... do u know where to find plastic bbs in Brisbane QLD Australia... u konw if it's illegal to import airsoft bbs or not?

you can also get 12v motors from RC airplane stores... they spin at a very fast speed with 4 AA batteries.... oh you might want to use metal gears.... cause they won't wear out as quickly as plastic ones

you can pretty much get all your tubes, gears, motors, battery packs from RC airplanes stores... and get your spring from bunnings or mitre 10

version 6 gearboxes (p90 type) are hard to come by but not impossible, from my experience version 6 boxes are also the easiest to work on. version 2 (M4 M16 M15, ect) and version 3 gearboxes (AK ,AUG, and G36) are very common and i would bet you could pick up a full metal one for less than $50. i dont exactly know which sites will ship to austrilia so i cant give you a web address but you can check out...

trinityarisoft.com
airsoftgi.com
precisionairsoft.com
steelhawkairsoft.com

(one of those might be in japan so watch out cant remember which one)

just saw a post asking where to get one so i thought i would through that out there

My favorite gear box is probably the one that is in the JLS FN2000... 350- 360 FPS, One of the quietest gearboxes around, very rapid ROF.. they call it a Hybrid Version 2 Gearbox... it looks like a lot of parts out of a Version 6... best of both worlds... thought the only way I know to get that gearbox is to actually buy the gun itself... The JLS FN2000 costs around $129-$139 US
