Name: Deathray Machine Pistol, by BTB

Caliber: 6mm
Type: BBMG, ultimate inline
Constr. material: all metal
Max pressure: 900 psi :D Edit: Now it runs off of a 12 gram with the help of a jet adapter!!!

Main valve: pressure washer handle
BB capacity: as of yet unknown..
ROF : extreme, as far as I can tell

Well...after all the failures, trying to create an autovalved machinegun, I decided to build something that would work... :D

This short machine pistol uses the Ultimate Inline principle.
I've shot it at 35 bar and my heart is still pounding like crazy.
EDIT: unregged CO2 is even worse!!
The short design doesn't mean it's weak at all!

It cut up a can in a split scond and all I found was split bb's as if they were peas!

This thing could cut your hand off!!
So much for air-soft.

I used the pressure from my fridge compressor, but it would work just as well off of unregged CO2...Wish I had a suited barrel in .177....muhahaha

Now some pics that 'll make you guys eat your bbmg's!!
Paintjob, elevated sights and buttplate are coming...

(Updated: see finished pictures below)

Nasty little bugger....The Tee is where the action is.Vortex block consists of a reshaped 12 mm elbow, tapped to 1/4"to accept the treaded barrel. Barrel is smoothbore, but an absolute PERFECT fit for 6mm bb's.
This thing runs on pure aggression!!

Ultimate inline, as you can see.Piston is a perfect fit, though not sealing.

Now with flat black paintjob and buttplate added.I also reglued a decorative piece back on at the frontgrip. It should keep my hand from ever slipping in front of the nozzle

It pierced thin MDF board even after I had lost a lot of pressure to a JAM...Grrrr!! One bb was somehow bigger than all the others, as it was perfectly round, but still jammed.I had to take the gun apart to fix it.While doing so I also filled up the bottom of the Tee to get better action. The bb's dropped to far before.

This used to be part of a broken pneumatic nailgun. I hacked it up to make it look like this..

Finished look.
I might add a silencer later.
The laser sight helps a lot.Without it I could not hit a thing with the short design and all...

Yup...A 12 gram jet adapter.Even though the flow is really small, it fires like CRAZY!
This is because the pressure washer is spewing out LIQUID CO2!!

It fires for about 3-4 seconds off of a 12 gram. That is a lot of bb's and a lot of power.Whatever it hits gets pounded to submission.

Close up.I cleaned it up a bit.The part where the pressure line enters the T has been cut down to the minimum.

Finally something to deserve the name "deathray".

I had no idea what 35 bar was going to do to an airsoft bb..well..I did, but not really..

It aint pretty I tell ya... :D

I'd have to ask my dad, but I'm not sure he'll agree with this thing..

Wow, that sounds like ...all of you 14 year olds....

I don;t have a videocamera myself, so...I have to go over there and try to borrow it..

Any suggestions on the look of a light stock/buttplate ??

That's just flaky...not camo.
I have to paint it all black.
I might put a camo bottle cover on it though, since I got the cloth already.

I think I need some Bondo...This thing could turn out pretty well...

nono, not camo, but the that dark green tone from the camo not the camo itself, i personally don't really like camo.

I've tried several Idea's like this, ar running off of the same setup...

None worked very well, except for this one.
I especially like the fact it can easily be fired from one hand...
I'll go for the L-shape

Oh and. Thorne..I'm not a big fan of your sig...it's..a bit INVASIVE
