Now that definately looks on the shady side of "sporting" JSR.

Might as well booby trap them as well Geez...
I thought my friend was unsporting for eating breakfast on the roof of his cabin while picking off deer with a rifle.

You beat me again JSR, I'd just edited the end of my last reply. I agree with what you wrote.
LOL I've heard true stories of hillbillies in West Virginia using old Thompson smg (full-auto) on them!

:) i'm loving this... you guys are a crack up.

nothing wrong with shooting game with something like the GSMG- any and all activities should be in the pursuit of happiness... so it you want to hunt thumper with a GSMG- feel free. it will no doubt 'do the trick' and put a smile on your face in the process.

our actual intentions in the hunting market were more for de-vermination. squirrels, rats, or garden eating chipmunks/moles.

I think Westworld would count, although it's obviously rather different.

Thanks for the link Gippeto!
BTW, He confirmed what I stated about barrel length:
(Quote): "You can’t get more speed with short barrel without huge gas consumption, it’s even now bigger than enough."

Also that one uses a stronger internal spring modification for longer opening time.
It always bugged me about the flutes being in the incorrect position too.
Unfortunately I no longer have that one.(I've owned 2 before)

Hmmm... I'd drill a hole in the grip and add a dummy co2 with a hose to a bigger tank to make up for the gas consumption. (velocity did used to drop off with 12 grams)! 8)

So I suppose that the inline is the better concept as you used it as ur final product. Could I ask why u went for inline? The tippmans are reliable but they consume more gas due to the velocity screw (changing the velocity with a airblocking system instead of change the tension of the hammer spring).

The crosman 357 uses a hammer valve very similar to that used on the drozd bb gun (inline flow).

Serenity...
Serenity rocks, but they weren’t in the 1800s; so well there was western elements, it’s not quite a western. ;)
Call me "Judge", it's easier to type.

@The Judge, You never heard of "Westworld" With Ul Brenner?
It was an awesome classic western sci-fi. You should find it.
Had Robot sidewinders, colt saa's Great old movie IMO. 8)

BTW Think 'ol Ul (bald guy) died of lung cancer (smoking)?
Interesting fact, in western movies, oddly enough Jerry Lewis was one of the best/fastest draws!

Shameful! :D

Very briefly:

Film set in near future, with an amusement park set in the wild west - all populated by robots. Yul Brunner plays one of these robots, specifically one designed to start duels for the guest's amusement.
Of course, all the robots go wrong...

Basically, think of Jurassic Park (amusement park goes wrong) meets the Terminator (killer robots), and you're mostly there.

It's not set in the 1800s, but that's still got to count as a mix of Sci-fi and western.
