Good pint. Airsoft doesn't exactly suck gas like paintball or larger caliber cannons. Again, thanks for your help!

liquid propane always hovers around 90-110psi depending on temp.

Arggg... Propane is a pretty dirty gas in my opinion. But it is cheaper indead.

I'd say, if you want to save money in the long run AND have the possibility to get high pressure for futur project (up to 800 psi with the regulator i linked you in this thread), i'd say go for the c02. Tank, refill and reg will be max 150$, and you will not regret it.

Well 90-110 should be plenty for what I need. But propane is pretty dirty. I'd rather not have to clean out my gun every time I play.

On the other hand, CO2 is a little above what I'm looking to spend right off the top. However, I have science fair coming up, and my dad said he'd fund me (at least partially), so if I could turn this into a science fair project... sounds like CO2 is the way to go.

And Leonard, that's another good point. I can use CO2 at a higher PSI if need be.

Thanks for your help guys! I think that's all, but I'll post any new questions if I have them.

I had another idea; I know it won't yeild very many rounds, but it would work in a semi-automatic gun. Could I use a 12g CO2 cartridge with an inflator attached to a gun, such as the ones found here?
