i dont quite understand how you make one would someone please explain all the parts you need to make a complete machine gun

this will be my first BBMG

i cant build a simpler version because i can only make 1 more air cannon becuase thats what my mom said.

This needs to work for my a m240 machine gun.

what kind of air supply should i use because i dont have a air compressor

how much does a CO2 setup cost?

Last air cannon? tough deal man.

A vortex cap is just like a vortex block, only instead of being carved out of a block, it uses a section of pipe, then air is blown in to make air circulate and bb's fly out.

Can't tell you how to to build one, but I can tell you that a compressor is cheaper, and a one time investment, unlike CO2. You can get a perfectly decent compressor for 100$.

well maybe not quite the last one i could build it in secret.

how do you make a vortex block as it should be very similar to a vortex cap?

because i wanted to use it in a airsoft battle and i dont wanna lug it around it a airsoft battle(compressor) is there a way just to use regaulr air. besides useing a bicycle pump or compressor?

Well a vortex block is like essentially a chunk of wood, you should have seen pictures of it around, for vortex caps, its just replaced by a small section of pipe. And if you look at the pictures of the firing mech in the link here, everything except the endcap at the bottom is bb reservoir, then the cap is where air spins around throwing bb's.

that might help with vortex blocks but not vortex caps.

And yes vortex caps are really that simple. I just got fed up with the rule that the block has to be in the chamber.. So I made it so the chamber itself is the "block"

A spring/plunger just makes it feed better so you dont have to shake the gun to have it fire every time. The shroud is there incase the spring/plunger is too strong and if it is too strong you will get a jam of BBs.

I'm the creator of the design so if you have any questions feel free to PM (my inbox isnt full right now)

Raptor, I can't help but notice...Man you ask a LOT of questions without apparently offering to discover much of anything for yourself. I would encourage you to extend your research time more and get out in the shop, work with the tools and materials of the trade. Excellent descriptions exist for just about anything you want to do and accessible by searching. Some of the things you are asking will become obvious to you. Also, some specific answers may not be knowable until YOU discover them.

Not raggin' on ya. I and others here are happy to help however possible. Why don't you get started on your project based on your studies and ask questions when you run into a road block.

I hate to break this to you, but spudding is a hobby just like RC planes and helis is. To participate properly, some reasonable level of expediture is going to be required as well as real time spent learning the craft. At least some of that time will invariably result in failure..it's the only way you learn. Even if we were to answer each and every question you pose, you won't really understand what you are doing until you sweat with it a little bit.

No one gets all of "it" right the first time out.

if you use a CO2 canister with a regulator do you need another air chamber. or can the CO2 go directly into the blowgun. what other portable air source is there.

On a BBMG, your BB magazine/chamber is your air chamber. For your purposes, CO2 is the best way to go. You could go esoteric with nitrogen, helium, hydrogen, portable air compressor, pre-charged air tank, scuba tank.....
