Not if I have anything to say about it...
However, my thoughts on frictionless rifling are not the subject matter of this thread.
well can we make another thread... sounds interesting  :D

but the mass problem can be solved by using the heaviest BB you can find!

Sounds like a perpetual motion scam.

You can probably stabilize a round with friction between rifling and round, but you can't stabilize the round without expending energy in the process.

Frictionless rifling?
How will you induce on a spin on a projectile without friction? I assume you are not going electromagnetic or some other weird stuff like that here.

Only thing I can imagine is to spin your barrel like crazy.
Any way, it WILL take some energy to get the rotational speed, so how are you going to apply it?

Of course it will - however, the process is frictionless and has no effect on the projectile's velocity. The energy comes from elsewhere - and no, you're quite wrong on how I'm doing it. Spinning the barrel would be a nightmare.

There is also the other process I've alluded to a couple of times that although it does have some effect on the projectile's velocity, the difference is pretty irrelevant.

That clears up a lot. :P
What is it?

It's a frictionless method for inducing projectile spin, but that's not important right now.

Gahhh!
*shakes fist*

Would it be worth it to post a new topic for it?

Just buy a tight bore airsoft barrel. Does wonders for accuracy.
