I think if you went with that construction you could just cut out that vortex block entirely. You don't need it if you are feeding ammo in thru that clip thingy you got there.

You could just use a blowgun trigger for the trigger. Are you going to be getting your CO2 from a paintball tank or did you have something else in mind?

Perhaps you could do something like Imortal87 did here:

First off, that construction will not work, strictly according to the diagram. The springloaded magazine will just eject the bbs out the barrel or back towards the air feed if there is nothing to hold them in place. There is also a massive amount of dead volume.

Are you trying to make a vortex or a spring-fed design?
Are you trying for full auto or semi-auto?
Did you look through the BBMG/Strafer showcase?

I apologize if I seem mean. I'm honestly trying to help, but you've given us so little to go on.

A 12oz paintball tank can certainly be source of pressurized CO2. Did you read this? I think Immortal87's P-90 is a vortex, but I can't be sure.

Yes that should work just fine. The bb on a spring is a type of detent. It allows for pressure to build more behind the round for a more powerful shot. A cloud chamber with your detent will give you similar results and be easier to construct. You may even be able to hide the cloud chamber in the stock instead of having a protruding chamber.

EDIT: For a trigger, you could create a trigger piece that has an extension bar that reaches back to a type of push button valve or blowgun mounted inside the gun. The trigger itself doesn't need to be the valve, it just needs to open it.

Ignore the stupidity that was here before.

EDIT: Just had a revelation. The BB on the spring isn't ammo, it's a detent. Wow... I guess it really is way past time to go to sleep.

you people should get sleeped more than half hour in night! :D

that should work fine, the detent is going to slow the rpm down but thats good beacause BBMGs will come expensive at a time :D

Here's how I would make it, I think an o-ring sandwiched in a threaded fitting is a better detent than a spring loaded BB to be honest as it restrics the BB but also seals off the barrel.

@Jack, A blowgun will not hold the pressure of unregged co2 facing that way. When I tried, it either opens on it's own or stays open when you push it.

Vincenzo:

Telling JSR a reverse blowgun won't wortk is like telling Santa Claus that he makes presents. :D

I would think that Pengeren would want to reg the pressure down, or at least have that capability. However, I've not seen much evidence for what he intends this build for (airsoft, metal bbs).

Pengeren:

See how JSR worked out the trigger like I described? Now build it. :)

Agghh!!!

Ok, so in theory, some blowguns might work, but using something at 800psi that's only rated to 90psi is a bit stupid, if only because you're enclosing it in your hand at the time!.
Use a ball valve or a pressure washer handle. A pressure washes wouldn't fit well in a p90 though.
If you decide to regulate the pressure down a ball valve will add another layer of safety in case the reg fails.
