Airsoft/paintball mortar/shotgun build log.

I will get pictures up when my dad gets home.

So far I have the barrel, and the air chamber built. I am waiting on the QEV, and pilot to arrive from mcmaster so I can assemble the rest. Just to piss me off I am guessing, a ups truck just drove straight past my house and the parts are coming from ups. HOW ANNOYING IS THAT?! Oh well.

I am sure you are wondering why I put mortar/shotgun in the title, thats because it is a double function. It will be able to be loaded with wadding, then paintballs (I would not use airsoft bbs because it would take easily 5,000 to fill it up to make it work right) and then a little more wadding so they don't roll out.

I will update this when I get the parts, and then I will upload pictures of the completed part.

YES THEY MADE IT! FINALLY! THE PARTS ARE IN!

Whatcha mean david? So I got the qev installed, and its not sealing. Its pissing me off a bit, and I don't want to have to return it. I will try another test, and if I cant figure it out, I will post pictures of it.

If you don't get what Demon is insinuating, ignore David's post.

Things could be a lot worse regarding new members. I think the majority stumble upon the site and want to comment so they join up without any intent to actually contribute more than opinions or (FSM forbid) happen to be trolling.

I joined because I wanted to know more, and now I just like dispensing that knowledge as well as tips with woodworking.

Warhead, could we get some more information on this thing? Chamber size, barrel size, rough description of it's workings?

Ok, chamber size, 2" by 2'. Barrel, 3" by 2'. Valve is a 3/4" qev, ordered from mcmaster. My biggest problem with it is that it wont seal. I don't want to take it apart to try to fix it, so I am going to try to wing it.
