Well Guys here she is.
My first airsoft gun project. It is semi-auto using the typical QEV and 3 way valve setup.
I have incorporated a power adjustment from low to high power (300-500 fps) By using a ball valve inline with my air chamber, great for choosing between sniping and close combat. Or if you just want to save on air. The propellent is compressed air, I used a paintball 20oz. C02 tank and I pump it up to 1000psi with a Benjamin PCP airgun pump. It uses a paintball gun regulator to drop the pressure down to around 100-120 psi, I can get about 400 shots on high power setting.
For a barrel I originally used a piece of 6mm steel tubing, huh yeah extremely tight bore, turned out to be to tight, every 5th bb would get jammed. So I bought a Madbull Python2 6.03mm tight bore 590mm long barrel. I wish now that I had gone a little tighter like a 6.01mm. But I guess it depends on the bb's you use to. I am using 25g 5.95mm bb's which are a little loose in the barrel, but it still shoots accurate, and very straight thanks to the hopup. I estimate that it shoots around 200feet, about 175feet before the bb starts to fall.

Now all I have to do is figure out what I'm going to do about a clip and sights.

Sick. Just sick. I like it :D
How are you gonna preven double feeds? Reliable feeding is a priority in designing a semi auto

I'd assume the detent/hop up eliminates such problems

Lockednloaded is correct, I forgot to mention the detent, but thats kind of a given. I was originally going to mount the clip on the bottomside of the gun in front of the handle, It worked flawlessly with a pipe nipple and the gun upside down, using gravity to feed the bb's, fired as fast as you can pull the trigger and no misfires or double feeds.

Forgot to mention that the body is made out of pvc pipe.

Good job in incorporating a hp tank as the stock, nice job on the PVC aesthetics, looks like it is robust.
on the whole excellent work. :D
