So my parents aren't letting me get a qev valve, so what are some alternative forms for semi auto firing for airsofts?
Thanks in advance![/list]

Ok that's awesome, but is there any way to make a quick exhaust valve ?

Yeah, but they are less efficient for airsoft, not to mention that they cost WAY more to make.. Why won't you parents let you?

Neither of those are necessarily true... A well made piston valve can perform much better then a QEV, and valves can be made from some epoxy, tubing, and rubber

A coaxial piston valve only costs a few bucks for rubber and epoxy. Because technically the rest of the parts aren't the valve. Coaxials are cheap and simple!

Grades

Even if they are harder and don' cost as little, how are they made?

Look at the showcase. It's just a piston valve with the barrel in the chamber.

Yes, but can you do semi automatic with it?

With a constant air source yes. On a single charge, difficult and you need high pressure. wyz2285 did it.

How would it be done? would there be an air in and a separate pilot valve?

You can build potentially lethal weapons, but only if you study!

Not necessarlly
I used to use 100 psi only, and I got 5 shots out of it :)
But then I added a bigger chamber, and higher pressure :D
