Not even a spring or anything? I always see people making modifications to them

If you are filling it from the chamber side you will need a spring behind the piston and an equalization hole to allow air to the pilot. But that is mostly for automatic configurations, and is not as efficient as just using the valve in its original form.

I would be filling from the p side of the qev and the popoff will be there too, all directly from air supply wich is a co2 tank ... Hopefully it all works :) the chamber on the a side of the qev will be a 3/8 in brass 4 inch pipe... Barrel ill do later with the mag but first i would like to get it fireing the way i want , so do u think this setup should work ok? Other than not very good efficiency and btw this IS an automatic build

How will it be automatic? And what type of regulator will you be using?

By using the popoff qev combination and im not using one other than needle valves

Gotcha. Keep in mind, the slower your ROF the better your valve will work because you want the input flow to be pretty slow so that the pop-off valve can easily pilot the QEV.

The parts are shiny :D Decide on a feeding system yet?

Indecided i would first do a paintball hopper +1/2 pcv tee plus 1/2 pvc pipe and use that as a gravity feed for testing it out :) since that would be alot let work and money than creating the airsoft mag ... Although im going to do both , eventually somehow 0.0

Just a suggestion: if you document your build with pictures and descriptions of the parts and the problems you experience during the build and your solutions it would be a good thing. (A build log) Are you willing to do so? This way it is documented for others to learn from :)

I am very willing! I was already planning on it actually , just not now , i will do a yourube video piece by piece with everybit of information! Here is an update of a few more pieces that came in today although some had issues fiting together ... So far im missing a 1/4 inch 45 degree angle elbow , a 3/8 in end cap , a needle valve , a remote line and a barrel setup i will do later :D wish me luck guys this is like a 200$ project for me and im only 14 :(
