That's my point, if a cheap aeg can do it, a homemade hammer valve can certainly do the same.

I brought a new 6 mm steel barrel :mrgreen:

It's 5mm port, enough for 4.5mm cal.

Finished the sling shot style hammer, should save me some air consumption :) and give me a couple more shots.

It doesn't shoot yet, no trigger. But the sling shot hammer is working, I can the valve open by just swing the gun up an down with hammer inside without spring.

pretty nice, if you upload another photo...please put one with .......how did you put the caps to the air cylinder ...had you made threads ?
