No this is why most airsoft, bb, pellet, and spudguns use air; because the air can push projectiles all the way out the barrel but directly mechanical pistons are only pushing the projectile a short distance out the barrel

Maybe, but the higher the internal pressure, the harder they'll shoot. Higher flow valves DO help, and quite a bit.

Thursto, you'll be fine, but don't try to shoot anything that's 20 millimeters. For BBs, it'll be damn strong and you'll still be able to get multiple shots.

Hes just using 20mm as the outisde casing, he will have a BB barrel in there

if thats what you were meaning

well i hooked up a bb barrel to my reaper rifle and it frankly rocked
it was rely powerful at 100psi but all the air didn't escape when i fired it so i could get about 2 shots out

so if u want a nice strong bb gun i recommend using a sprinkler valve or even better a piston valve it might be a bit of over kill for such a small barrel but it will be worth the power and if u have a small chamber on it it will be a breeze to pump up

SO... Thrusto, What do you want?

*A gun that has More than one shot and has a relativity decent amount of power with it?...

*Or a gun that has some really really nice power, but more than likely one shot, but as your thread title displays this is really what i see you are looking for?

coz when it comes down to it it is really what you want we can only help and advise on what you do.

Iknowmy3tables, I see what you are saying but these cylinders, if you looked at them, are very fast moving. But I do agree and my solution would be to have the exhaust feed back into the barrel directly after the cylinder has fired, so it would have that advantage of both technologies.

P.S. Geez, all this talk of bbmgs and bb snipers has made we want to make one really badly. I'm thinking if I make one it'll be a single shot high powered thing, maybe from one of my Crosman bb guns. Thanks for the inspiration everyone.(although it is somewhat of a contagious bug)
