Scuttlebutt says that shortyusa sometimes sells bad guns for the price of a good gun. Airsplat.com has good stuff and good shipping times. I don't think any of them are longer than 5 feet either

Awesome. That makes me half a foot taller than you. If all else fails, amazon.com is like the online wall-mart, except they have stuff made by real companies that selll thier wares through thier site.

you might be a half foot taller than me but i have a... never mind you have a potato gun to. ive been checking a lot of sites and i would like to get a gun i can mount a mad bull gernade launcher into. one of my spring assault rifles has the right holders for one so if i get one i can switch it between both guns. ill check amazon and airsplat though.

Amazon isn't always acurate or trust worthy the person writng the review could be a noob, just make sure it has a metal gear box and it should last, it it has a high capacity clip that dosnt work take it apart lay out the long clock sping and oil every inch, get extra baterries the batteries and moter may be your only other problem

some apealing guns that suck I know are: the cheap $100 dollar or so XM8, and the cheap metal AK-47 thing it actually has a plastic gearbox (mine jammed 20bb in the barrel I don't know how and it was probely more)

some guns I hear good about you should buy one of these or a similar one:
http://www.kapowwe.com/Merchant2/mercha ... ore_Code=R
MP008 M14 long but sounds good
http://www.kapowwe.com/Merchant2/mercha ... ore_Code=R
cm028 ak-47 was recomended to me by staff a year ago there are many new model today that could prove worthy

well also about your height I'm 6' haha shorty getting shortyusa gun  just kinding a good short gun would be a bullpup(AUG, FAMAS, SA-80) or the p90 some say they look funny or sci-fi but thats because the trigger guard is intgrated into the fore handle making a streamline shape while being the size of a large pistol with a stock attachment the're a really nice shape and it's very comfortable, I have a cheapo but I don't know many affordable mid-grade non-brand name P90s

however if the stock length anoys you then that was bad advise cause those don't come with adjustable stocks

www.airsoftgi.com

my friend got a gun from them and it got here in two days with standard shipping.

although ive never shot echo1, i hear that echo1 is a great company. metal gears, 300 fps, 10-15 rounds per second..........

i have a (not sure if you are looking at pistols too) WE 1911 and it is awsome. full metal (i mean full metal) and it has never jamed, never mis fired, and never failed. it is a great gun if you are looking into a pistol and is something to look into. it shoots just as fast as a AEG, around 315 fps. it hurts like hell if you shoot your self, try it if you wish.

The AGM Schmeisser MP40 AEG is only $139, not to mention the body is full metal. From what I have heard, it seems like a great gun you can get it here: http://www.airsoftatlanta.com/aeg.htm. This is the only AEG mp40 out there if you are into WWII.

Try to avoid anything not Japanese. Tokyo Marui is always good but you're not going to find much of a rifle on a $150 budget. If you can stretch it, go for a Marui MP5 variant. There are tons of upgrades out there for them and you pretty much can't go wrong.

I have a Marui G18c AEP. It's basically the guts of an AEG packed into a pistol. They're loads of fun and great for small skirmishes and as sidearms. The only drawback is the low velocity, but there are several mods that increase the velocity about 25 FPS. With .12 bb's, my gun shoots around 300 fps.

See what Trinity Airsoft has. That place is excellent as far as customer service and prices.

ya i always thought that echoes were bad but they sound pretty good. the only reason i need a short gun is because im 5 feet tall and im notevn 14 yet to tell you the truth. i have airsofted since i was 8 and now ive been doing it 3 years to this day. do the math and you will get my age. dink so that explains why i need a small gun but i might just go with my original plan of getting the utg mp5 because utg makes great guns.
