ok im brand new to this and im building the one on burnlake or whatever the site is and i need to know i plan on goin to play airsoft with it and i know that a 20oz co2 tank is out of the question cause it would run out so fas so i found one i could proabably backpack

and i want to know how long that tank will last me

if you had a regulated co2 canister it would last you at least 20x as long as that thing. that would last you about 5 seconds (not exagerating) one a full tank

how long would a regualated co2 canister last me i have like 2 20oz ones and a 9oz

Specs:
-Caliber: 6mm (airsoft)
-Magazine: 2200 rounds, quick reloading through detaching rear via cam-locks
-Barrel: ~12" Madbull Tightbore
-Velocity: ~410-430 FPS with .25g BBs
-Rate of fire: 115RPS at 130 PSI CO2
-Gas consumption: ~25-30k rounds per 5lb CO2 bottle

you can get about 6k on a 20oz regged to 120 psi. use a palmer stabalizer for the reg anything else and you run the risk of making that blowgun into a frag grenade from the liquid.

Palmers also sells a dual manifold system for $130 so you can run 2 20oz tanks off a single reg (palmers stabs are incredible regs and if you don't use one then you are a fool). Take a look...

Or you could get the regulator and build your own for duel tanks, it could be alot cheaper.

Well, for the regulator thing, would a paintball regulator such as : http://cgi.ebay.com/NEW-TIPPMAN-PROSHOP ... dZViewItem work? If I regged it to 130 psi, wouldn't it be the same as the palmers, if I got a good gage? Why would any other reg be a frag grenade? Because this is built for paintball co2, and that is what it will be used for....

Why not? I have made several Co2 systems without a single problem, a little steel pipe, teflon, some strength, and their not too hard to build.

th whole frag thing if you shoot fast and the regulator gets liquid co2 in it it could get stuck open puttig 800+psi on that blowgun thats rated for 90

Would a paintball co2 expansion chamber get rid of the excess liquid? And also I am going to get a 25' hose for he co2 to expand in, that will also help remove the liquid.

if you used hpa you wouldn't have to worry about the negative degree liquid

Well, here is what my setup will consist of:

3lb co2 Tank>>Tipmann Paintball Regulator>>8 Stage Expansion Chamber>>25' 600# Working pressure compressed air hose>> My strafer!
So, with my tank standing vertical, that would cut down most of the liquid in the system, then the regulator helps too, because tipmann made their so it allows the gas in, but blocks out most of the liquid, then I have an expansion chamber, which allows the liquid co2 to turn into gas co2 while it expands, and also the 25' hose helps do that too.
