Where's the barrel, union, burst discs, etc? Let us see more of this contraption.

You pretty much have it all right there... No union, and the burst disks are simply plastic bags... Or hot glue like you see in the pictures...

I wonder if you could use the recoil to eject the cartridge.

But then whats the fun in pulling out the cartridge and putting in a new one? Makes it a little bit more fun.

Besides, how is this even a cartridge?

Because it is preloaded? You don't even have to fire it, you can leave it over night at a 2x mix and fire it the next day and it will have the same results as firing right after filling.

Well, you've got a nice rifle stock, a basic bolt action is easy enough, 1/2 or 3/4 barrel, and you'll have a decent and reasonably powerful launcher.

I am going to try launching a cork at some point, but right now I am just too tired and busy to bother... I would prefer to sit and work on a piston valve or something and make one that works, and then mess around with a hybrid... I also learned something, Lowes galvanized steel fittings, and black iron, are only rated to 150 psi. Less than most pressure rated pvc... Interesting no?

Ignore that rating... You can use 4 times that.
