Hybrid cartridge.

Harness the power of precision mixtures of pressurized flammable vapor. Safety first! These are advanced potato guns - not for the beginner.

Is this good for a first?

Hell yes.

Sorry for the bump. But I finally got around to trying to shoot a cork, and it didn't work. All I heard was a pop of the burst disk and then pfff of the cork just sliding a bit. Didn't even clear the barrel. :? Any suggestions? Again sorry for the bump.

Sounds like a bad mix. This thread may be of interest.

Double post again, I know... But I ran into a problem. Butane is no longer working, even at a 1x mix. I double layered the pvc with a 1 1/4" ID pvc pipe, and filled with epoxy and hot glue, but the butane won't ignite. The spark gap is about 10mm, and I get a nice big fat spark from it, so that can't be the problem. It may be the burst disks not breaking at a low enough pressure, I may try it again with a different type.
