jrrdw just wants to make sure you know that you have to actually use properly joined metal fittings in a hybrid. It's not like a pneumatic where you can just stick plastic together and it works.

In the video it looks like he joined a copper solder fitting to a plastic fitting. How does that work?

The copper fitting is threaded and so is one end of the PVC adapter :wink:
