Here a pic with 3 layers paint and 2 layers of clearcoat.

I've modified the 3/4" union. I've flatten one side so it can get farther into the other side of the union.

For sealing I will use a O-ring. Perfect airtight.

The next thing I will do is searching a way to mount the tazer in place. I will also sleeve the ignition wires in black. I've got some sleeving over from casemodding. :P

You might find it easier to swap the union around as it is generally better to have the 'flat surface' half attached to the barrel. It will give more area for the burst disks to grip against and stop them from slipping out of the union.

That third gauge on the chamber, the one that reads 60 bar (presumably), is a waste as I'm pretty sure you wont be able to read peak chamber pressure with it. I remember DYI talking with another member (or was it you?) about it recently.

Thx mr crowley for the tip. But do I have to swap the union? Because it works great now too.

I definitely need some ear protection. I did a 2x mix with 2 layers of cardboard. The bang is massive.(without barrel)

Vids and more pictures of building as soon I have time.

A little video.

First i'm adding 2 times (pressure metered)propane(around 0.15bar if I remember correct) and then 1 bar of air. (2x mix)

I've mounted the barrel on and the bang is quieter.
After filling the cannon I was loosing my double quick connection. After some searching i've found it.

I definitely need to clean the gardenhouse. :)

btw: I tested indoors because it was raining here :?

Hmmm, i'm thinking to throw this cannon away and start from the beginning.

The only 2 things I can say:

- the chamber will be 2" steel pipe 25cm long
- high voltage ignition

What ignition source do you think you will end up using?
