after replacing the air chambers once, the fittings on one air chamber once, the entire valve, the pilot valve three or four times (that's $60 right there), the batteries three times ($15-25), the tee under the valve once, the paint (include in eight or nine cans of spray paint per paint job, for two paint jobs, and numerous touch ups), include in all the pvc glue, the new barrels, some ammo, the battery box, the toggles, 9v connectors, toggle guard, button, blank switch plate, two wheels, with built in bearings ($10 each), threaded steel rod, nuts, screws, several (probably 10) hose clamps, each 8" diameter, banquet table legs, etc.

you might of been able to get oh, say, four 4" fittings for $4 cheaper apiece, but it would still cost you in the deep $450 dollar range.

$75-100, eh? maby you should know what you are talking about before you open your mouth.

whew, glad I got that out of my system.

back on subject.

my grandpa helps me out with my projects too. so they like to see them shoot as well? that's pretty cool.
markfh11q wrote:Most I've spent is about 150$ for the Last Blast. This thing was cheaper due to the interchangeable meter input.

that's not cheap, but at the same time is a reasonable price, considering the fun It provides. I really like the last blast, it looks fun. :)
all of the work I've seen from you is really clean, and quality. keep it up. :D

Yes you are right.

The trick is to go to the wholesale stores and thak to the people there. Tell them what you are doing and often they will give you good prices on things. Like I bet you paid 15 dollats or so for thoes 4" tees. I can get them for 7 dollars. And thoes 4" elbows, 4 dollars.

The pipe is cheap as shit. I got ~18 feet of 4" for 8 dollars. There was a construction site using it for drainage. I told the guy that i could get him drainage pipe that same size if he would trade me for the Sch 80.

Not to bragg, but don't assume stuff like that.
blabbering idiot
That says it all!

Hey, if it's worth it, I've no problem forking out 100-150 dollars for a gun, but obviously I'd like to save some cash if I can. 8)

I order from McMaster simply because they sell high-pressure fittings a lot cheaper than other places I've seen them. McMaster may be overpriced on a lot of things, but their steel, brass, aluminum, and iron are a lot cheaper than what they're worth.

BTW - I'm working on the damage vid this morning. Just gotta wait for everybody to wake up first, before I go shooting this thing through 2 liters.
