I'm having a problem, I made a nerf gun for fun. As propulsion it uses combustion, the problem now is that it takes a longe time to reload. Because you need to vent the chamber and spray new fuel in, dus somewhone now how to fix this problem?

propane injection and a chamber fan might fix the problem.

maybe a ball valve would work to vent and spray fast?

I thoucht that if I charge up a tank to 80psi with the fuel mixture, and use a valve from a lighter. If I inject the fuel mixture with a nozzle will that the remove the need to vent the chamber?

It will be off. On the first shot it will have a bunch of fresh air, and after that it will have a bunch of O2 depleted, warm air.
Go pneumatic. That's the only way to do semi-auto effectively. Unless you want to rig up a couple solenoids to O2 tanks and a fuel tank, along with an ignitor and a way to control it all.

Well than change the name from semi0automatic to fast refueling mini. I come up the idea to make a backpack with two tanks, one with air the other with the fuel mixture. Both operated by the valve from a lighter!
