Yes.

The combustion gases will reach a couple thousand degrees but that temperature lasts for less than one second, even in a closed chamber. The chamber itself (and any epoxy) will only warm up by several degrees since the mass of the plastic (and epoxy) is much much much greater than the mass of the combustion gases.
