Tag burns very hotly?

I melted two bottles yesterday that I converted into mini's. The first was a shampoo bottle and the second was a Brisk Ice Tea bottle. Melted them both after about only 15-20 shots.

Are they melting cause tag burns too hotly or are other people having the same problems but with different fuels?

Did you make sure they "vent" properly. because you could using them too fast after each shot

Shampoo bottles are made from soft plastic so they will probably have a lower melting temp. Iced tea bottles are made weaker than pop bottles because they do not need to contain pressure.

I dont think tag is anything special, really. You may get tackled by a swarm of hot chicks though.

Yup. I open up the caps and had a fan beside me and let the air blow into them.

It started melting around the screws that make the sparks.

What the hell happened to spudtech.com anyway? I use to be active there then tooka break for a while and when I came back it was gone?

I will have to try pop bottles next time. If only I had an empty pill bottle...

Spud tech closed because joel was too busy. It's for sale now, but the forums have been copied to spudfiles.

The reason your bottles are melting around the screws is because the metal retains much more heat than plastic. The plastic may be cooled, but the screws are still building up heat energy with every shot.

No matter what fuel you use the bottle will melt eventually

If only it did work. Ha, that'd be interesting.

That's a risk I'm sure a lot of guys would be willing to take.

Wait! Idea!

If you used tag to launch a potato with a girl nearby, and tag really worked like that, would she chase it?

hmmm... interesting question, i think it would all depend on the scent of burnt tag. anyone care to analyze the composition of tag before and after combustion?

btw - what went missing?

No, I don't want to do that. Missing. in one of the tag commercials, three guys sprayed on tag and went into the "test area". Two went off with girls. One met girls, and was never seen again. You see one of the scientists picking up an article of clothing from where he was last seen.
