two questions about dry ice and propane

first off do you think it would work to make a small simple galvanized pipe with ball valve shooter that runs of of dry ice

and secondly do you think it would work to make propane ballons and load them into the chamber as sorta lke a clip?

The first one is a concept I'v been thingking about. 2" galv is rated to 800 psi if I remember right, so it'd be fine running with CO2... I was planning on using a burst disk at about 500 PSI - it allows me to get the same energy as my large launcher in a small hand-held device.
Either that, or liquid N2.

The second has been discussed before, but probably wouldn't be faster than acctualy using the propane meter before.

just made a small maby 6 inch 1 inch chamber dry ice gun with ball valve proto typre and had a very good distance for such a small gun now im gonna go full scale after I finsh my outher project . I recomend a dry ice gun to any one with a easy soource of dry ice ( my parents are chemists )

nope I figured what the heck its rated to like 600 psi plus it was more like im at the store why not do a simple project

i would still put like a gauge on it or something cause dry ice can go up above 600psi i think

ya the next ,full scale one will have one, and also im going to mesre how much pressure one square inch will make and calculate maby like 100 psi or whatever
