Well im sure that guy that got hit by the guitar had fun
in the world of spuds today I completed the smallest combustion on this site(in sig) and i was having trouble with it before but now i get about 5 shots off every 8.
and i fired my little mini coax at a milk jug maky times and it went through bioth sides at anything over 100psi
I started work on a barrel sealer gun(1in by 48in pvc chamber, 60in by 1/2in sdr21 paintball barrel, 1/2in ball valve exhaust)
and thats it.

I am working on a .177 cal. breech loading coaxial and the epoxying is a female dog. The epoxy itself is fine (I don't want to invoke the wrath of JSR) but so friggin hard to work with, it seems to wriggle out of any minute hole in my mold thing. Cure times suck for an impatient person like me, and it sucks even more after you have waited and waited to have it not work. ARRRRGG. If the stupid thing weren't steel I would (attempt) to break it over my knee, although I know tomorrow morning I will have though of something, even if its just "screw this" or something.
My rant is...not quite over. The fumes from epoxy can be especially potent, and because they don't smell as bad as pvc cement or primer, I didn't realize how bad they were until I had a splitting headache. Fun stuff. Magic would be really useful, like if I curse at it enough it will fit together and shoot bb's. I like this thread.

I finally got to wring out my copper gun a bit. I worked my pump overtime, and fired all shots at 400psi.
Muzzle blast at 400psi is pretty impressive, and you get a "big rifle" kind of echo off of distant objects.
Damage was most definitely "up to par".
I did not have too much time to shoot, so only a few pics and one short vid. They are up on the thread now.

In the world of spuds yesterday, I went down to the park for the first time this year to test some new ammo. Half the disks were faulty, we ran out of gas early, I had to demolish the breach to detach it after it got cross threaded, and a steel pipe nipple on the back got sheared cleanly in half when the recoil absorber slipped out of place, but me and a few people who came to watch got some good entertainment out of it while it lasted.
The ammo:
This round's aerodynamic qualities, penetration abilities, and stability are quite poor; it is designed solely for visual effect (and does quite a good job of it)
And the damage, on a misfire (disk failed at 150 psi):
The range shooting setup:

The great thing is, almost all of these rounds are reusable, if you can find them. The ice rounds explode, but Pykrete stays mostly together even after wrecking metal targets.
I'd have to say though, one of the most entertaining shots of all was when I missed the target (the barrel is bent ), and heard a strange whooshing noise as the 2 pound ice slug whipped across a field at 350 fps, and then smashed into a chain-link fence 200 yards away. Good times

INWOST, most Americans have blood on their slimy little hands.
America, the greatest gangster of all time. With 200 million odd foot soldiers at it's whim and call.
When you fill your car with refined oil remember that it has been paid for with blood and guts, some from your own countrymen, most not.

ITWT.... 4,000 American casualties in Iraq, means piss-all to me, just thought i'd point it out
ITWOST... I ran out of teflon tape, and wasted my day-off (teachers only day) looking for teflon tape and my brother had the car so I couldn't drive to the hardware store.

Indeed they are and those bullets are making minced meat out some AQI rear ends...all of which is leading us good guys to victory...which is the object here.
Respect the man's code for crying out loud....geeze... Rolling Eyes
No, i WILL respect Scottcretes' opinion however i will not respect his god forsaken code, i cannot, seeing as though i have never taken that oath.
If Scottcrete had an once of respect for himself and his fellow people he was trying to "protect" he would have responded. After all, the oath claims to do sh!t that it does not. Just as the power house claims to do sh!t that it does not, worse than that- it claims not to have committed atrocities that it has.

FFS, just drop it already and stop your whining -- I don't want this topic to be locked as well because you can't shut up about scottcrete's post. Just end it, stop polluting other threads, and move on.
