I was just wondering what everyone's favorite paint was to use on their cannons. I hear alot of people use Krylon Fusion, but my little brother (who is a paint expert) thinks that I shouldn't use Krylon and should use some other plastic paint... anyone have any thoughts/experince with this? Thanks. Cheers

Krylon Fusion is the way to go. Your brother proably just has some bias against Krylon paints. I tried another type of plastic paint form HD and it sucked it fells like it never dried even after a week! Its been about 2 months since I painted it and I can just rub the paint and just the fricton from my hand makes the paint rub off! When painting PVC go with the namebrand which is Krylon Fusion. Ive also never heard any bad things agout krylon fusion paint.

I read about krylon fusion on this forum and tried it . It is better than what I have used before, I couldn't get it in t he color I wanted because they were out of most colors but red is okay I guess.

Ok sweet... krylon it is! Just wondering tho whether or not I have to hunt for clear PVC Primer (clear is so hard to find)... I definately don't want that purple crap... so if i did use the purple, would I be able to sand the whole cannon and paint over it all and thus covering up the primer? Secondly, would I even need/want to sand the PVC before painting, or would that just mess it up? cheers

edit: let me re-phrase that... do I need to sand or prime before using Krylon?
