Well since it's very dangerous shooting golf balls at 160m/s around my neighborhood, I usually shoot completely random objects, that are soon turned into projectiles.

Every week I will probably make a new video of me shooting random stuff, you're more then welcome to post your own video's.

To start it off I've posted a video of me shooting a carrot and a power plug with my SGA golf ball gun at some 3/4" chipboard.

So can a carrot shoot through 3/4" chipboard?
Well you'll have to watch the video :P

I would love to see a vid of you shooting buckshot, this could be anything from Bird Seed, to little screws or nuts.
Here's a good one, fill a water balloon and freeze it in your barrel ( a cut off bit) That would be sweeeet

Good idea you have with this thread too!!

Thanks, Yeah I've done a few buckshots with bb's before. I saw some peanuts in my cupboard and was ever so tempted to shoot them as a buckshot :P

Nice, this kind of seems like a spin off of "Will it Blend?"

Keep up the good work.

We need a mix between "Spudfiles," "Mythbusters" and "Will it Blend?" : Blendmythfiles!

Just Spudbusters would work - or possibly Mashbusters or Mythspudders.

What kinds of myths could we bust?

Well, obviously you start with the simple ones that only total newbs believe, like:
There is a myth amongst some people that a combustion spudgun is more powerful the more fuel you put in it.
and:
If you put too much fuel in a combustion, it can explode.

Then you move on to the questions that newbs ask, like:
Are DWV fittings "safe" for low pressures or combustion?
PVC vs. ABS
Pneumatic vs. Combustion

Or you could just skip clean over those ones, on to the real questions:
Is acetylene as dangerous a fuel as it's set out to be?
What sort of practical maximum range can different types of spudgun achieve?
How likely is DDT in various hybrid mixes and chamber shapes, and how does turbulence increase this risk?
What dangers does an oxygen enriched mix create towards safety?
How possible is a full auto combustion?
How close can you get to the sound barrier with a conventional pneumatic or combustion?
How much does a chamber fan/spark strip/multiple sparks add to a combustion's performance?
Are there effective ways of reducing a combustion's heat loss that will increase performance?
How does porting the barrel end affect accuracy, range and velocity?
What pressures does a combustion actually generate?
How much do extra bends in the design reduce performance?

Now those are some questions I would like to know the answers to. What we need now are some dedicated Spudbusters, a handful of leverage with a few companies, a few contacts, some advertising revenue, and a budget to work with.

Mythspudders has my vote as well.

Ok, Mythspudders it is then.

So, now all that is needed is someone prepared to pay for a domain name... and a decent logo.

Rename theopia :P

We could even test the myths about DDT if it can blow up a normal metal hybrid chamber.

Can a buck shot of peanuts destroy things?
surely the spudgun equivalent of a buckshot round is something like this:

Also, I like the way it looks like you made a fort out of cardboard boxes in the garage, all it needs is a big No girls allowed sign ;) :D
