Hey spud chuckers, I have managed to obtain some kind of electronic valve of sorts ( i don't know what the fudge it is ). It was made by Compair, operates off 24v (50Hz) at 0-16bar. My guess is that it is a actuating valve of some sort.
I was thinking that it could be used either as a qev or a pilot.
I have searched around but came up with no info, please help!

It was easy,
All I did was was type in on google "Compair 24v 16bar" and went to the bottom and in Asian was the website.
Hope I've Helped.

Now to figure out how to use it in a spud chucking role, 24v is a bit strange to be using on a spudgun
At least i know what it is now

Well, 24v is the usual sprinkler valve voltage. Maybe a pellet gun of sorts.
Hey Nova, Where you at in AUS?

Bingo!
Newcastle is on the east coast of Australia, (for all you that care).
I never knew what voltage sprinkler valves operated on either.
How does the Hertz effect the units operation?

Got a point there, but then again "NovaNovaCastrian" doesn't have the same effect as Novacastrian.
@Nova, I have no Idea, I suck at electronics.

Hertz is the frequency of the solenoid I assume. I don't know how it affects the valve though...

There are also 12v solenoids, my bet would be it'd be a bitch to mod so just rig up 3x9v batteries in a project box.
Stop complaining about new, Newcastle, we don't have an old Zealand, just Zeeland in Holland somewhere.

Its probably just a recommended frequency. I doubt that it really matters much.
