somehow between surfing spudgun ideas and stating/defending my opinions it blew up. suddenly i'm getting emails from the member pasturepatrol stating
I don't see how you could be any older then 14, you are really an idiot.
over and over and over. 13 emails total

i then mistakenly accused ammosmoke, benstern and blackosprey of underhandedness. i apologize to those three members.

i then got several PMs from mrcrowley with the exact phrase that pasturepatrol used in his emails.

does this stem from my asking for credentials? or possibly from my comments on the stupid website thread? i don't know, idon't care.

i asked for my account to be deleted/banned. i am done dealing with children.

MrCrowley wrote:First of all, you keep criticizing my post about things I haven't even said. You started having a go at me for something I didn't even come close to talking about, you quote me with stuff I never said and quote other people saying I was talking about them when I didn't even mention them.

I don't see how you could be any older then 14, you are really an idiot. Just because I post like somebody else doesn't mean I am that person. I even showed you a picture of my account info which says I only have one account under this IP.

I hope you never come back, you have nothing to offer this community and no one wants you here, you will not be missed.

Also we have a censorship on spudfiles and 'fork you' loses all of its effect, I swear to god unless you showed me your passport i'd think you are a kid by the way you post and lack of intelligence.

I also disagree completely with what pasturepatrol was saying, I can dig up my MSN convo with Pete Zaria if you'd like to see them for proof.

because I don't like you and want to shove it in your face i'm going to prove this whole thing to you.

This is me with only one spudfiles account:
Image

This is you claiming you didn't break the rules after a post of mine not even relating to the rules, just saying to keep out of trouble. (also shows you being an asshole, twice, getting both assumptions about other members wrong, including me.)

i definitely don't believe your mrcrowley. even though he seems to have issues with what i've posted i don't believe he would waste the time to create another account. he might read some of my stuff out of context, but that's not a crime and most of the time i'm willing to reinforce what was already posted.

if i was to go by this thread alone i'm going to guess your benstern, maybe ammosmoke. i'm leaning towards benstern. your writing style also gives clues to who you really are. i don't really wish to start comparing your posts to others, i have better things to do.

in the future please try to stay on topic.
please continue to email, i do enjoy a good laugh.
can i still reach you at your pasturepatrol email?
Sorry to burst your bubble but I just checked blackosprey's IP and he is the only member using that IP.

Now stop accusing members of this forum, especially ones who are more senior then you and have done something for this community. You have already started out on the wrong foot with a few members here so lets try and fix that before you get into more trouble.
couchquail wrote:i've done nothing against the rules. i have taken flack from members including yourself.

are you pasturepatrol?
This is you saying setting up a spudgun foundation is illegal:
couchquail wrote:this is illegal in the US.

as is this
Killjoy wrote: Weird, I was thinking the exact same thing. If we got a bunch of people to do it, we could start a fund for "the advancment of spud technology".
And I have to wonder if he even tests his cannons since he is still alive.
Then you said media don't hype things up or over-exaggerate.
You also said posting an address online is breaking a forum limit, when that address is already all over the internet.

couchquail wrote:
Novacastrian wrote: This could be a good opportunity to make a S*&^load of cash.
Buy un-regulated cannon, fake a blow up (or wait till it does blow up), then contact the retard that sold it to you and tell him you will sue if he does not fork out $3 million in cash!

this is illegal in the US.
this is extortion or insurance fraud if an insurance company paid off the settlement of a lawsuit.

^ That is you bringing in a quote from someone else, trying to argue against my post when I wasn't even talking about nor did I mention Novacastrian. I quoted Killjoy, not Nova. Read.

couchquail wrote:

And I have to wonder if he even tests his cannons since he is still alive.
this is conspiracy and insurance fraud
^ That is you saying again that a spudgun foundation is illegal and somehow conspiracy and fraud, please tell me how that is conspiracy and fraud.

couchquail wrote: yet another very illegal thing
benstern wrote: Yes, my original process of changing his contructuion tecqunices were to become progessivley worse.
1) my email
2) email from 10 spudders
3) call his home phone
4) email from 50 spudders
5) DDOS the site
in this type of situation calling his home phone is harassment
DDOS is illegal in most countries, you do know what that is?
Now this is you brining in again another quote from another member that I never quoted, nor did I talk about, nor did I criticize nor did I even mention them in my post.

Of course harassment is illegal and so is hacking forums. But once again you brought in bensterns quote to some how argue my post when I never even related to what he said. Another case of you being an idiot and failing to read coherently.
couchquail wrote: while you're not a US citizen many members are and the laws do apply to them. if you had committed any one of the above criminal acts while you were here in the US, the laws would still apply to you.
^ This is you being an idiot again, of course If I lived in America and broke an America law I would get in trouble. But what you fail to realise is that American law means jacksh|t everywhere else in the World.
I can break an American law all I want as long as i'm not in America and i'm not breaking a law of the country i'm in.

That's all for now, should shut you up, but knowing you, you will quote someone else that is in no way relevant to what I have just said in an attempt to shut me down or argue my post.

P.S Criticizing my spelling and/or grammar is a piss-poor attempt and proving me wrong, so don't try it.

Its not illegal in the US. As long as you do not intend/create bullets.

I'd like to see pictures and info on your cannon that blew up. Like the rating on it, especially where it says NSF-dwv, or pw.

Wow, dude. You take this so seriously. It's like you're going to loose sleep over this or something. This is a forum. A FORUM. People have a right to state their opinions. It just so happened that your opinion was different then everybody else's. So what. Get over it.

So you pissed off a mod. Make up for it. Apologize. Mr Crowley can be a pecker wood sometimes but most people with authority have to be pecker woods on some occasions or they won't be taken seriously. I've been here for a while and Mr Crowley seems to be a good guy.

You ask for your account to deleted / banned? Why? Because of a disagreement in one thread? That makes no sense.

Just get over it and continue here. You will see that a lot of people here are really nice.

That pretty much sums it up...I could hate hubb017 for using two "b's" in his name. It doesn't matter, if you wanna leave then ok. The rest of use will have a goodtime making shit that shoots 300yds and destroy bricks.

If it blew up then you did something seriously wrong... potato cannons do not blow up unless you screw it up. did you use pressure rated parts? did you use a fuel that weakens plastic... did you crack the chamber... the list goes on and i garentee you that if you do it properly it will not blow up.

if you look at every cannon on this site that has failed the author has included his/her mistakes and what they can do to prevent it, then if you look at it they never make the same mistake twice... you obviouly did something wrong.

edit- i too would like to see pictures.

Edit: By the way, when I read the title, that IS what I thought it was going to be, which made it even funnier to me.

Wow just wow i cant help but just look at this guys posts and get angry here we are some quiet people enjoying our fine hobby which just happens to be fairly dangerous so when we see somebody selling something that may be unsafe we try to help, now im not saying that thread was handled to well but some of us handled it acceptably and in a proffesional manner. But along came couchquail who turned out to be very very bad at handling anything negative about him in fact he turned out to be such a stuck up spaz he called a respected mod pasturepatrol which is like an insult if you know who pasturepatrol is.Couchquail you said you are done dealing with children yet your posts are very childish and rude much like what an angry kid who didn't get his way would sounds like.People tend to not get angry when you try to defend yourself when you handle it in an acepttable manner so this is my final word, in a week i will forget about you but before that i will be laughing in my mind about what a total fool you made of yourself with you're childish, angry, unnecessary, and hypocritical posts.I hope if you ever make it into the world of real business you will learn to grow up and handle these things like an adult.

Unlike most members, I'm going to remain polite.
Listen if you will, if "dealing with children" is your concern, I am 19 in 5 days, so I that qualifies me legally as an adult in most of the world.
As for my mental maturity, they don't legally define that, but I've undergone quite a bit in my life. I'd also like to believe my maturity is reflected in my writing.
But you might not believe it if you saw my handwriting, which is of comparable encryption levels to PGP and the Navajo code combined, then set on fire, and the remains buried in a peat bog for a thousand years.

I didn't agree with everything you said, but I'm sorry to hear that you've been put off from these forums. I personally would have been very interested to see someone with gunsmithing experience on the forums.

I see that things clearly started very poorly, but I'm sure that almost nobody wanted it to come to this point - I know that the relationship between you and MrCrowley soured quite fast, but experienced forum members don't decide to alienate people for a laugh, it takes a serious trigger to set people like that off.
The claims you made, although you may have had some evidence for them would have been better made differently.

Had the topics and posts managed to remain courteous (I am not pointing fingers at anyone specific), I feel we would not be here right now.

I personally believe the inflammation drew from the now finished Cajun Cannons thread, as most members here would be more than happy to be able to say a few words about themselves (I know I would). If nothing else, it has been interesting to see the background of the members here.

In the end, I will not be sorry to see the style of your more recent posts off the forums, but I would have liked to see you yourself stay. Members will drift on and off forums, but it's sad to see one who feels forced to leave.

In spite of my apparent maturity, I am deeply amused at hi's clearly impressive coding on that auto macro that seeks out threads titled like this and posts a stock response to advise the uneducated.
