CO2

Man, I feel really dumb asking this, but I am new to spudding and want to learn as much as possible before building the real deal. I was looking at building a CO2 powered one, what would you have to get to actually get the CO2 into the chamber?
Im thinking 12g CO2 cartridge with a chamber with 20-30 ci or less to get at least 140psi, and interchangable barrels(sch 80 PVC for paintballs, 3/4" sch 40 PVC for the empty cartridges, and 1" sch 40 PVC for C batteries and bouncy balls)
I will probably do smaller pneumatics to get some experience before taking on this project

Allthough more fun, I hear that the pneumatics are more powerful, and I want to have the experience to build all sorts of cannons

pnuematics can be more powerful it depends on the compression and the chamber size but my combustion is much more powerful than my pneumatic and my pneumatic is a decent size.
also pneumatics are silent and the inter changerbile barrel idea is really good i did it for my pneumatic sniper and it works heaps good
but combustion is easier and cheaper so try making one of them first then go on to pneumatics there better in my oppinion.
keep up the good work

unfortunately for now i gotta do the minis untill I get money and a drivers license. I dont think my dad wants anything to do with these. so for now they are all just plans :(
