mtronic, that video would have been soooo much cooler if the appliance rolled backwards and fell into that pond. :D Oh, and then it blew up.

But seriously, good video. I like how even frozen water will act like regular water under those high stresses.

It sounds like the silenced PPK on the old N64 Goldeneye game. :D Of course, I haven't played that in forever, so I don't really know.

did you ever figure out why it made that cool sound, and you should amke a vid of it shooting at the proposed 125psi

I think that the sound is a combination of a small hole drilled in the side of the ball valve breech, a washer inside the barrel to keep the paintballs from rolling back into the valve, and the muzzle brake.

Oh come on, is sarcasm completely lost on some people? In this forum, small type tends to relate to something that isn't being said seriously, and I even resorted to a little ;P smiley to make sure I got my message across.

If I get a good video with HEAL, it is simply by virtue of it's low bore limited in the scale of damage it can do, so that's the main issue.
I believe that I could probably get a hole through 1/4" plate steel with the right round (Nova almost beat 5mm with a round that wasn't that specialised, and an even smaller cannon again), but as Hotwired pointed out earlier, a hole a few mm across is not visually impressive damage.

@potatoflinger: I noticed your note next to your video, about your problems with embedding. I find it's usually worth putting your name in a video somewhere, because I know people that have made videos that have gone on to be pretty big, and lost the credits because they didn't remember to put a name on it anywhere.

I was led to believe that you were incapable of sarcasm..
I would like to see a video of HEAL punching it's way through something, why don't you enter the competition?

I was planning on doing just that. I'll probably be going with the approach of an interesting projectile rather than just straight application of kinetic energy.

And there is a difference between sarcasm that has been carefully written as well as formatted as to make it clear and other attempts I have seen at it.

Yeah, ok.
What are you planning on doing for your video, or will we have to wait for it?
