but my computer died on me frying the hard drive so no vid, and if i can be bothered ill try again.

Bad thing about round balls is english! I'm aiming at a 5 gallon bucket at about 60yrds.

Question -- Can we use 2 camras and show 2 views of the same shot? Run the views back to back for the entry clip???

What cannon will you be using? I'm thinking the same using either my mini hybrid or my bigger one.
To repeat a question you asked earlier, DO WE POST THE VIDS ON THIS THREAD?

My current favourite of my videos is my paintball versus potato clip about 1:10 into the Youtube video currently in my signature, but I should have some even better new ones soon.

When you say no explosives in the ammunition or the target, does that include pressurized gasses? Because I have one sweet video lined up.

Pressurized gasses are fine.

Yes, multiple cameras on the same shot is acceptable
DO WE POST THE VIDS ON THIS THREAD?
Yes, I'll add that to the first post.

I've got my shot all ready, and I'll be taking it tomorrow. And if that doesn't work, well... I've got lots of Pykrete.

I'd do something involving firing a full propane cylinder at a target, but certain people might not approve of it

Nice competition. Unfortuanately I can't shoot most of my cannons outdoors due to Jack Frost's yearly patterns (douche bag...) Pity...
Looking forward to all the entries though! I might enter one, but with a 45 foot indoorhallway to shoot in, it won't be anything spectacular...

soda can. i knowi can hit a soda can at 100 yards because i've done it before, but i want to try for even more intense range and do 150-200. we'll see, i first have to find somewhere to shoot it =P

EDIT: i think i'll just do 150yards because it will be hard to find a stretch of 200 yards wihle 150yards i could just do on a football feild.

200yards is about 180m, which is a helluva distance.

My money says you wont hit the can, a marble is perfectly smooth and spherical being shot out of a smoothbore barrel, it's going to curve unless you have spin on it to control it.

Somebody wanna pick which gun I should use, I can't decide, no really. Plus cold weather, pvc; no way. I know the name scheme is pretty lame but hey, it works. The 2.0 is the b@$t@rd child that never gets fired hardly, mainly because its a big propane tank with a 3/4 inch 4 foot steel pipe barrel, lots of air and a small barrel. I built it in 20 mins from shop junk. I could always upgrade the tank with my spare Orbit 1" and some pvc. Should I?

That last picture reminds me of a name newspapers and press would label a group of people, like <A HREF="http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Bali_Nine">The Bali Nine</a>

"<A HREF="http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/The_Pneumatic_Eight">The Pneumatic Eight</a> is the name given to eight American cannons seized on 17 April 2005 in America, in a plan to reek havoc on a number of unsuspecting double A batteries and innocent targets such as a soft drink can. AA #1, AA #2, AA #3, AA #4, AA #5, AA #6, AA #7 and AA #8, all the same age at the time of their arrest, faced the hacksaw penalty if convicted.

So far three of the original eight cannons have recieved the hacksaw penalty and have since been recycled into rain coats."

Yes, I made a wiki page on it just for this post :)

ROFLMFAO. Oh and you made a page, how nice lol. Oww it hurts to laugh now.

No really, tears, pain, yet soo funny.

Edit: owww, lol.

Edit again: Oh and I have two of those super steal deal Asco valves coming in. One is going to the propane tank but I'll need to weld on a new bung, or have my teacher do it, something tells me he rather stay anonymous and in the clear though. But I'll wait for springtime.

definitely your BFG, effect on target seems to be important for this endeavour and you can't argue with more power :)

Why would you need 8 battery launchers/ Are you into really masochistic paintball?
