Why would I not buy that

EDIT: Just like every time I buy something, it's apart in 0.03 seconds...

The last picture of the piston is just because I had to take it off the rod to remove said rod without gnawing up the o-ring rod seal. In fact, if anybody feels they could put it to some use (and piston hybrid owners out there?), feel free to ask, I won't be needing it.

Dang Mark, that looks pretty heavy duty!

Got one of the lathe cutting tools I ordered today, tried putting it in my drill press vise and turned some wood, it seems to work nicely. :) The key was to take a little off at a time.

Out of town for new years tomorrow...but I managed to get my sawed-off functioning properly...
I got the ammo and it turned out they would get stuck in the magazine.
So I took everything off ( welded!) bored out the tube...fixed a lot of other stuff...Girandoni was right gravity feeding the ammo.

Works much better!

Anyway...happy new year and see you guys soon...be safe!!

Sweet. Any thoughts on plating the tip of that sear with some thin sheet metal (aluminum, galvanized flashing, etc.) to reduce wear?

No, but that's a good idea. I could put an angle of aluminum around the tip, but it can't touch the sides, otherwise the sear won't be able to fit inside the trigger box.

Hey jack do you have problems with the Exilim focusing sometimes? Like you zoom in on something, it focuses but then when you hit record it goes out of focus?

Well I think I found the solution for that a few weeks ago. When zooming in on something you want in focus, change focus to macro (IIRC do this when the shot isn't even a closeup) and then put your hand in front of the object that you want in focus so that your hand (or a larger object if required) takes up the entire screen on the camera display, wait for your hand to focus and then remove it and it should stay in focus.

I just tried this again to make sure it's macro and not auto I have the focus setting on but my camera wont zoom in... dunno what happened to it :(

My exilim is a piece of sh¡t
Too many problems... It's okay for taking average pictures and low quality high speed videos. But the HD video autofocus is crap

Never happened while filming. Sometimes the macro goes a bit crazy for still photos but it sorts itself out pretty quickly.

Hey mark, why not turn that into a TB semi auto? I know the fittings would cost one hell of alot, but that might be a fun project.
