Yeah, I did get that. I forget sometimes that not everyone has access to a lathe. With a lathe it would be easy to do it my way. Adding seals is not really an issue either. ((again- if you have a lathe)access to industrial seal suppliers is also a bonus :D )

Regardless, kudos to you for thinking off the beaten path, this may well be the piston everyone is using next year!!

I don't know about that, for the majority of spudders simplicity rocks, but some of us refuse to settle for mediocrity.

A possible further improvement of this design would eliminate pilot volume completely by using a latch trigger as I had done with this project:

I bet the trigger pull on that one was very "enfield" like. :D (used to have a mk 4)
