People have tried and failed.

And why bother, to quote JSR, this isn't the cold war, this is a spudding forum. It's best for everyone if we keep all the info in the same place, if you made a forum it wouldn't attract anyone new, just the same people.

I'm sure if there is something Australian about spudguns you wish to discuss, it'll be fine on Spudfiles.

Here here, the beauty of this forum is that you get people from all over the world even the depths of epoxy batcaves :D meaning there is a vast pool of information and experience to rely on, and more exposure for your creations. Besides, do you really want an Australia-specific website for an activity that is illegal in some parts down under?

Topics exactly like what you are talking about already get discussed here on a weekly basis. I vividly remember several topics specifically for Australians finding alternatives for BB's, paintballs etc, or how to get hold of them in Aussie.

What you are talking about, is already discussed here, so personally I see no point.

I think RNA was thinking of making a site, but every other Aussie that I was aware of, who made a website, failed. The websites never went anywhere.

You haven't been here long, so would've missed alot, but i've seen most topics on this forum, and I feel there is no need for another forum.

Use the search feature to look up "Australia", I got 435 matches - I think you'll find there's plenty of Aussie-specific information on this site ;)

As said above there is a vast wealth of information on this website relating to aussie laws and such. What i do think would be a good idea is an organised weekly msn discussion, like a meeting to talk about spud guns and similar between aussies, and it wouldnt be that hard to manage as there is not alot of difference in times between the states.

I dont think that it is 100% necessary to make another website, but a possibility could be to have an Australian discussion area in the forums
General Spud cannon related
Pneumatic cannon discussion
Combustion cannon discussion
Australian cannon discussion
I dunno, just throwing ideas around here

There's already too many sections.

There's no point, really, just post it in all the other sections.

There really is no point, i think it's great that us Aussies frequent this forum but i think the limit will be for us to just show our pride when and if the need arises.
What is good for the goose is good for the gander, would you like to see this forum broken up into country specific sections, i wouldn't.

If you get an Aussie discussion..
Then I want a British discussion..

Can you see where this is going?

Edit: Yay! - 100 posts on my second account.
