Does anyone have any idies for artillery like sights for my golf ball cannon because it would be nice to make the ball go a certain distance. Extra info you may need my barrel is about 5 - 1/2 feet long and there is nothing creating backspin on the ball i made something but it tore the peice of rubber off with a little chunk of my barrel but it worked lol.

Your best shot is to run a bunch of simulations using GGDT based on angles.
A 30 deg angle = x amount feet then based on that information you can get ball park figures. Then you would mount a plumb bob or somthing to always point striaght down to measure what angel your holding the gun at. This would be with a constant PSI

Another way you might do it is have a set angle say 45 degrees and us the PSI guage to vary the pressure. Agian use GGDT to get a ball park figure on where your shot placement is.

I couldn't tell you how accurate it all would be however it would be intresting to see what kind of resullts you got when you ran the "field tests"

Not much you can do about windage except eyeball it.

"If you do it keep us posted"

ok thanks dude i just got to find a really big feild because ive measured other stuff with this rolly thing but the golf balls go way past what i measured and i guess if i mounted my gun on a tripod and shot three shots @ 90psi i could then mark there positions and find the center and measure back from thereand also at a fixed angle and yeah..

Try using a lower PSI or increasing your angle past 45 degrees, or lower then 30 degrees. All these things will subtract from the distance and make it more easy for you to pace out the shots.
