GGDT is messed up

Hi, I tried to install GGDT from this website http://thehalls-in-bfe.com/GGDT/
and even though i tried to install it correctly by using the instructions, it keeps F*UCKing Up!!!!!! so can some one tell me how to actually install the program correctly?

What i did was create a folder directory in local disk (C: ), download the GGDT executable, dragged the icon on the desk top to the folder, and did the same for the other two files. I followed the instructions 4 and 5 and i double clicked the ggdt button in the directory, but it keeps saying "Run time error 339 component mschrt20.ocx is missing one of its dependencies or is not registered: a file is missing or invalid"

What am i doing wrong

Go back to the page you've just linked to and complete task number 4 where it says:
4. You should now have two CAB files in your directory: comdlg32.cab and mschrt20.cab. Double click each of the files to extract a corresponding OCX file.

Those are the files it wants.

So you need to open the .CAB files and fish out the two OCX files. I've just done exactly that and it's running fine.

I got the same problem the first time I installed it. I tried again a few months later and got it working but now it doesn't work. again. I get the "missing file" message too.

make one folder. put all the files you got in there and open them all before opening ggdt...

If your GGDT folder does not have the following files in it with those exact icons then thats your problem:

Sorry if this is kicking this thread, but i didn't want to start a new one. The file "restore.gdt" does not appear on my folder list. since you have to have all of the files there, what did i do wrong?

Don't worry about restore.gdt. It is created by GGDT everytime you save a design.

my ggdt works fine, exept that when I try to load a saved file it errors and crashes down.

The error window that pops up:

Run-time error '380':
Invalid property value

Where do you live?

Point: Some folks who live overseas who have different conventions on what a comma or a period mean in a number have experienced this problem.

I live in europe, the netherlands (you could have clicked my profile  )
Sometimes I use a dot, and sometimes a comma.
Is one of these wrong to use in GGDT?
Could you make a function to automatically replace all dots with commas or reverse on textbox change?

You open the .exe file and it asks that?
Impossible, your computer must be mad!
