So if I understand you to be correct, at 15% efficient the actual muzzle energy is only 1/7 the total energy? If this is true and assuming you've been coming to legitamate conclusions, 2100J is the projectile energy meaning 14,000J is the total energy? This would blow DYI's statement sky high; which is what I was trying to disprove in the first place.

I'm aware of the post. I can never delete accidental double posts. This is what happened:
1.I submitted.
2.It gave me my spudbux.
3. The page tried to go back to the topic, but failed. (appeared to be stuck on some google ad)
4.I refreshed.
5.When I got back there were two posts.

Just kidding, don't worry about it.
I was just wondering what good a competition for the most powerful gun would do.
You'll just end up at Pumkin Chunkin...
Power for a certain size, that I can understand...

I didn't say anything about the energy in the chamber - I was talking about MUZZLE ENERGY. I really don't think anyone cares how much energy is in your gun's chamber, it's how you use it that makes the difference.

Forget the random searches, go to the pneumatics showcase
Edit: I forgot, check the Hybrid showcase too.

Search for posts containing "SCTBDCv1.5" by DYI in the Pneumatic Cannon Showcase. Since no one really uses the full name, it'll narrow down the search quite a bit. As for FEAR, there's only 2 or 3 pages in the hybrid cannons showcase.
