Well Well it looks like we have a challenge. Actually you and me should have a little competition. We could make a damage video and have the members of spudfiles vote on who's seems more powerful. Then we'll se who has the stronger gun. (Not hijacking by the way)

that is unless rcman manages to change my mind
and rcman the reason i say this is because, first everybody knows that pnumatics "pawn" combustions, second your CB, thrid your lack of a metering system, and last your lack of duel ignition(I mean two in each chamber.
im not saying i dont like the gun.
its a great gun its just that it is "pawnable" by elitesnipers big blue.

Just because the site shows one ignition per chamber and no fans doesn't necessarily mean I haven't added one. (which I have). Each chamber has 3 ignition points and a fan as of now. As far as metering it's questionable. I have determined that 6 sprays of gasoline in each chamber yields the best combustion. And, unless the spray bottle changes size, it will remain the same volume every time. But I'm up to the challenge. Maybe if I'm lucky(or unlucky, depending how you see it) I'll get a DDT on the damage vid.

The [redacted] project isn't anything particularly new, it's only unique aspect is scale. And I've left loads of hints already. Searching around my 1410 posts here and on Photobucket pictures for size 1 white font is a good place to start

But if the challenge is even going to happen in the first place, let the members decide

Then......why dont you do that. 
I agree on your philosophy but i like projectiles, and inflicted damage from one object to another. I am always interested in the black poweder war cannons that were used in wars like the civil War (American).
But since i will never really be able to get a civil war cannon, why dont i make one, but that would be a butt load of money. If i could get that almost for free, then i would. Also my uncle has land where i can launch this stuff so it would work out.
Maybe when i am older, i will probably do something like this, with the conditions that i can get all the parts for reasonable or cheap prices.
If i had the opportunity, i would be dedicated to something like that.

DYI: i does not have one single part yet but i will start as soon as larda get my chamber done. he also mentioned that he found a 20foot steel barrel that fits golfballs so good that he pushed it in to far and could not get it out other than with air pressure... if i manage to get my hands on a barrel like that i will get some decent power.
the hopefully specs are
16" of 3.5" I.D steel chamber
unknown length barrel for golfballs as long as i can afford.
3gap sparkstrip powered by two car coils in series.
10x mix (if i can get more airpressure i might dear a 15x or higher)
ordinary fueling with some tweaks.
then we will look at the chrony for (hopefully) endless numbers
i hope i can out shoot DYI since that is just something everyone can dream of
well when that is said i think i and DYI should have a competition since i got a old car waiting to get boomed. then larda would make some ammo for me

Spudblaster, I have access to over 30' of 4" steel pipe I can get free, free CNC milling and lathe work, and all sorts of free potential barrels. But we aren't talking about potential guns, we're talking about guns that actually exist in the real world. Blowing things up with high explosives is all well and good, but I like shooting big holes through stuff, and then being able to load up and shoot more big holes, not build a whole new b*mb.

Sorry brog, but I don't think the DUBYA quite falls into this category. It lands in the same group as Big Bertha; really powerful, but not quite in the elite category yet.
