Ideas

I have had a few ideas since I started the site and since I won't be able to work on them for a wile I would like to share.
high pressure pneumatic. my idea is a valveless design using the ammo to seal in the barrel and in the back so no pressure can push it out. I know this is not a new idea. However my plan was to use a bottled gas regulator connected to chamber and going to a blow gun that will release the air or gas in the chamber behind the ammo. This will alow the ammo to be quickly pushed down the barrel and allow the high pressure to finish the job. The plan for this was pressures over 2500 psi. Which brings me to a different idea.
After looking at pressure amplifiers, I thought about it and figured out how to make one. It is quite simple, All it does is uses a pressure cylinder to push a pump of smaller size creating a compressor capable of very high pressure. I figured a 4" bore cylinder at 120 psig pushing a 3/4" pump would put out over 3000 psig. it is the same as putting 1507 lbs on a stirrup pump made out of 3/4 " pipe. You could pressurize the small pump with your air source to increase volume out put.
Last major idea. For some time people have been trying to get a spud gun that could shoot a self contained cartridge. I have a good idea that just may work. Though this is the poject I want to work on the most I will give it to you guys to see what you think.
I noticed that when you cut copper it smashes down a smaller ID. I did some light testing and got a seal good enough with a bolt to hold 120 PSI all night. But in theory when the pressure spikes it will push through and shoot out the barrel. to light it I would use a black powder nipple with a percussion cap, it will flame up when hit and when JB welded on it is air tight. I was thinking of a break over breach loading system. it could be made to look like a real RPG and using high mixes could be quite powerful.
So am I completely nuts? Or should I try to stick with this hobby? If you have any questions just ask I will be on here the next couple of days.
