*BUMP*

You might be a spudgunner if it's one in the morning and you're on Spudfiles for absolutely no good reason at all.

You might be a spudgunner if a properly constructed O-ring groove is as much of a holy grail to you as getting laid is to normal people.

You might be a spudgunner if your truck wrecking liberates enough scrap pipe to be used by the towing company to keep your doors shut (true story!).

You might be a spudgunner if your art project consists of a humongous mass of golfballs connected with threaded rod.

And finally, you might be a spudgunner if a bumped topic either enrages or thrills you.

You might be a spudgunner if...you tell your wife you're going to the strip club to keep her from knowing you're headed to the Home Depot to buy more PVC pipe/fittings.

How about actually going to the strip club and instead of the scantily clad female, your attention is focused on the spudgunning uses you could find for the pole she's gyrating upon :D

I have full access to both a machine shop and a girlfriend...
I am a lucky man ain't I?
I know they're quite sturdy
But are they also just as smooth on the inside as they are out?
Hybrid barrel anyone? :D

Been on much later than that...

Well, no, not in my case. But they do often involve lots of violence.

So do I. I've had to set them up before - bizarre things that I've had to do as part of a technical crew.

 And what was your thought doing that?

Arent it just normal high-schedule steel pipes with a chrome finish?

CHROME?!?!?!?! Brass, people...and the really nice ones have ball-bearing rotatable sockets on the ends that allow for some really amazing spinning :-D

I should definitely check that out one day.

The pipes, I mean.

Well, for some reason, more of the tech crew wanted to help out that night... can't imagine why.

Of course, the irony is that my thoughts were about the pole, quite like JSR's suggestion, except they were more along the lines of:
"I hope she doesn't throw her weight around too much on that pole, because I'll be in a whole crapload of trouble if she manages to bring it down and break her leg or something."
Aren't it just normal high-schedule steel pipes with a chrome finish?
That might be what it was SUPPOSED to be. We just used old toilet rolls we'd taped together.
