this only relates to something that can be used on a spudgun, example, i hate to see soda bottles thrown away, since i can make a cheap pnuematic out of it.

once found 3 pistons and 2 electric clutches lying around in an empty shop that I was running a semi-legal salvaging mission on... We also got a lot more, but the pistons were the only things semi-spud related.
I am good friends with a guy who runs a "good-junk" yard, so I see everything people are throwing out, that he manages to salvage.

what makes me sad the most?

pipe. I always see a good 3 feet of pipe in the trash bins at almost every construction site i go to. I always do them a favor and swipe it :-D

to be quite honest though, the most painstaking thing to see thrown away is a good valve, wether it be schrader, blowgun or ball. it just makes me cry......

one thing that i actually like people throwing away is all the onions around my house. they grow onions here and they pick what they want, then leave thousands out in the field, which leaves me with nearly infinite ammo. (it would be impossible to shoot all of them)

When I worked at this one place, mantinence was throwing away brass jar top solenoide diapgram valves. They work ,I think,at least thats what one of the guys told me? but they justed upgraded to more advanced valves. Needless to say I jumped in the dumpster and got them..To this day I have never used them???

I hate to see all the pipes on the side of the highways when they're rebuilding roads. Theres a place on the way to the NC coast where its just a field of PVC pipes 6+" with mountains of fittings.... Everytime I pass it I drool :P

i hate seeing those warehouses on the sides of random roads that have big piles of pvc pipe. I also hate it when somebody is throwing out something and you ask for it and they say no but when you leave they go ahead and throw it away.
