I have seen some pill bottles that directly inject butane with a regular lighter. I thought that was cool so i started to make one. One thing that the build required was a micro torch head to be inserted into the bottle. I wanted to test something thats sorta like one but im not rly sure. I used a tube and some kinda of connector thats at the tip of the wand lighters. This is what my guna looks like.

when you shot it, did it damage the hose at all, or did any flames get up into the tube?

nope, but whenever I shoot there is always a flow of butane still coming in because all I did was take the barrel off of the lighter and stuck the wires from the piezo and the butane tube into the bottle.

toss that tip out, melting the thing in is kinda dangerous, even though you probably wont get hurt it would suck to have the thing pop in your hand and then have to start over.
and get something threaded, kinda like this

Image

from left to right:

10-32 threaded mini hose barb, this is what you want for making a mini that is injected with butane, the threads will seal your hole allowing you to just drill it and self thread/tap the hole.
10-32 to 1/4" npt swivel fitting, for increasing the fine threaded 10-32 end to a 1/4" npt for water pipes

check out this site they got some oddball paintball stuff they probably got the same stuff
http://www.palmer-pursuit.com/catalog/fittings.htm

10-32 swivel hose barb, same as the last but its a bigger hose barb (made for vinyl or poly tube 1/8")

10-32 square 90 deg. elbow, this is just an elbow , self explanitory

What I meant was I left one of those Scripto Brand long nosed lighters in tact, only I took the barrel part off. That exposed the hose for the butane and the two wires from the piezo ignitor. I attached the wires to the T-pins I used for electrodes and I poked a small hole in the chamber to put the small tip into. This way I could push the button in slightly to get the flow of butane going and when I had enough in I would push it the rest of the way for ignition. This meant that the butane was still flowing through the hose which might have kept the flame from going backwards up the hose.

I used a highlighter for my mini, it should be about the same size as the permanent marker. Mine requires 2-3 seconds of spray but I have mine as a coaxial, so yours will probably require 3-4 seconds. Is this about how much you use? Also, your spark might not be hot enough, maybe try to put the electrodes closer. Has it fired at all? Maybe you just aren't airing it out well enough.

aight i tried it for 3-4 seconds and all the way up to 10 seconds..increasing by a second each time and still no luck. also the spark is a decent spark that is a bright blue. should i try some axe to see if that will light..because i havnt gotten it to fire once... :(

Can you take the cap off or something so you can spray a bunch and then continuously push the piezo while the chamber airs out to see if it will even light at all?

yeah i just did it and it didnt light..theres like a 1 inch gap between the spark and the butane valve thing. i can even smell the butane comingf out of it and it still doesnt light  maybe the placement of the butane valve is in a bad spot but i dont think that would matter with the cap on the back...hmmmmim stumped...should i try a different piezo?

try less fuel, if you can smell it coming out you are either loading too much butane, there is a leak in the butane supply, or you have a super cheap lighter upside down and you are dumping liquid propane into the chamber which wont light but will smell like pig poop

Well, if it sparks, then it should be fine, try reducing the spark gap just for giggles to see if it helps. If not, try a different fuel. If it still doesnt work, dont use electrodes, just stick the wires straight into the marker (that helped with mine).
